My name is Marley Ciecierski! I am a graduate of PennWest Edinboro University with a major in Graphic and Interactive Design and a minor in Drawing and Painting.
Despite my major being mostly focused on graphic art, I strive to have my toes in the water of any medium that I can get my hands on. I absolutely adore mixed media, and the more mediums I can learn, the more I am satisfied. My biggest inspirations as an artist are the Art Nouveau movement as well as what can be seen in nature. Anything with flowing lines and curving shapes draws me in and inspires me to create.
Ever since high school, I have been hunched over a computer, tablet, sketchbook, or canvas trying to create something new. I really want both my work and myself to really stand out. During my journey at Edinboro, I discovered a love for painting as well. Even though I hated painting in high school, my time at college helped me to really reconnect with the medium and broaden my horizons. Some of my other interests include reading, writing, photography, and hovering over a blank sketchbook page as I wonder what my next project will be.
